Modern curtains design 2011 for windows

If your style is modern or contemporary and you've already chosen another main focal point ,the windows become part of the "shell " of the room ; they become part of the background , blending into star element to shine . You can choose from simple fabric draperies ; blinds made of paper , fabric , wood or metal ; or no treatment , leaving the windows bare. depending on your functional needs and the scale you've determined. The color should match in hue or tone ( intensity ) with the surrounding walls for a clean , seamless look .

If your windows are the focal point in a modern setting . the treatment should be clean and simple . but there should be something about it that draws the eye . You could use brilliant color in an otherwise neutral setting .
You might frame the windows with a pared - down , deconstructed version of a traditional treatment , such as a swag . Or you could simply make the windows the focus of the room by your arrangement of the furniture and artwork.

Choose the right hues: The colors and hues in your bedroom can render a vivid or a dull appeal to your room. Therefore, be very careful while selecting the right shade for your bedroom. Nowadays, muted / natural colors like beige, grey, and taupe are popularly picked by people planning their small bedroom interior design for a more subtle look. You can also opt from colors like brown, mauve's at all for a more composed appeal.

Make an intelligent use of modular furniture to make the best use of the little space available.

The aesthetic touch: In your attempt to avoid clutters in your small bedroom, do not forget to add essentials that may enhance the appeal of your room. The secret to a successful small bedroom interior design lies in accessorizing your room to give it a modern appeal.

Funky lamp shades, mirrors, beautiful carved glass pieces make for a great interior decor. Jazzy wall art, like painting a unique canvas on the wall with one color at all, instills life in your other wise dull looking room. The key lies in striking the right cord between funky accessories and a simple design to give it the right aesthetic touch.

If you've recently bought your first home, you've moved into your first apartment, you've moved into a new space or you simply just want to update a room in your home, you're probably wondering what the current different interior design trends are. Here's a basic guide to the trendiest decor styles of 2012 for every room in your home, from the bedroom to the bathroom, the kitchen to the living room and everything in between.
Bedroom Designs

Bedroom designs in 2012 will be returning to clean, crisp lines and details. The style will be purely contemporary, as people are looking to de-stress from the recent economy issues and thus, they'll want to create bedroom designs that are spa-like. Spaces that you can retreat into after a long, hard day.

Be on the look out for clean, soft hues including cool blues, soft grays and creamy ivory whites, giving a soft and comfortable look with clean lines that compliment a comfortable, restful space.

Bathroom Designs

There are actually a number of different bathroom designs that are growing in popularity in 2012. This includes Moroccan inspired tile, natural or reclaimed materials, clean colors and unusual but organic looking fixtures. Of course, it doesn't end there. With bathroom designs, the opportunities are endless as more and more people are breaking away from the "what if I sell the house" mentality and looking more toward the "I want to enjoy my home" mentality.

For 2012, the best thing you can do for your bathroom space is to create a space that you love, rather than what might sell the best.

Living Room Designs

The living room is all about comfort and style blended together for a unique look. People are learning that they don't have to settle on a single interior design style, but that they can mix and match a number of styles and accept that no space is ever "perfect," despite what they may have been told previously.

For living room designs, don't be surprised to see a large surge of Moroccan inspired looks, global inspired looks, mid century modern, eclectic looks, vintage pieces, Americana and more.

Kitchen Designs

The kitchen is now the hub of the home, so it's no surprise that most people will be putting the majority of their focus into this space. When looking to create an updated kitchen design, you'll notice that much like with the bathroom and other spaces in the home, people are starting to become more comfortable with the "here and now" and less focused on the "what happens when I sell my home?"

Kitchen designs will include rustic and industrial touches, as well as clean, contemporary touches for a blend of updated and vintage styling. For materials, look for a lot of clean, contemporary materials over traditional and natural finishes. For example, stainless steel countertops are being preferred over natural stone countertops.

Other kitchen interior design trends include open shelving, stylish and colorful tile backsplashes such as mosaic tiles or Moroccan inspired tiles, dark warm cabinetry and of course, plenty of proper lighting.

New season has new tendencies. They are not only in fashion but also in interior design. The 2012 interior design tendencies show more respect to family values, ethnic roots, vintage items and colors reminding us of the past. White, beige and brown tinges are perfectly blended with brave tinges of pink, turquoise and orange.

During the world economic crisis times the interior design tendencies followed the idea of austerity by using straight simple lines and colors. Nowadays one can observe the tendency to optimism that designers pass through bright colors and vintage items. In 2012 there are six main trends or tendencies in the modern interior design.

> Massive usage of design objects.

> Wabi-sabi design.

> The expansion of functionality.

> Eco-design.

> The new meaning of luxury.

> Multilayered textures, complex structural forms.

Wooden House Design
Why now more and more people building houses made of wood or prefabricated ?
The one of the reason is the care and craftsmanship that is needed to build modern-style prefabricated homes compared with a traditional-style, on-site built house. For example, the architecture of the modern-style house often needs a backbone of steel or concrete, which costs  more expensive than modern wooden frames.

For several years there has been a strong activity that develops consistently, relating to the developing of contemporary eco homes. This activity has seen many new and current companies, mainly located in the United States, which are efficiently marketing contemporary premade homes to a much greater viewers than before.

But why would anyone buy contemporary prefabricated homes when so many preconditioned prejudices create them unattractive? Simply because it is more successful not just financially, but also ecologically. Modern premade homes can reduce development expenditures while reducing the ecological impact of development tasks.

These contemporary eco homes are developed by professional designers, many of whom previously only worked in conventional development, but now find themselves attracted into this more eco-friendly and versatile developing.

One purpose these designers are turning to this development method is the amount of management they can have over every aspect of development. It is far simpler for them to supervise everything in a managed environment, like a prefabricated development hub, than it is on a cold, wet conventional on-site developing location.

Another purpose is that a home may look fine on paper, but as development carries on problems may happen in terms of realistic style or a feature that is unsightly to the eye, it is a much simpler and cost-effective to improve the style in this situation, than it is out on a development website.

Modern prefabricated homes are also intended to be duplicated many periods with minor versions, in contrast to a one-off development on the website. Therefore, it is far more realistic to create changes to a plan when the same style may be used many periods, rather than it is when you are interacting with a single unit.
This contemporary eco homes activity was blessed from the needs of normal individuals for effective costing. Typically, contemporary homes are too expensive to develop for many individuals pockets; contemporary premade homes offer an effective costing, excellent alternative to conventional  methods.

Lightning rod is a very important equipment in a building no longer be complementary goods but has become a major requirement of the building in each country, especially for countries in the range of geographic location of the equator. Lightning and storm events often encountered when entering the rainy season and high-intensity back in the rainy season. This is caused by various factors, one of which is a high humidity factor due to the location where the event is the island where the ocean is more than its land area is what causes many clouds as a result of evaporation, wind blowing constantly producing friction between the clouds, and also the hot sun to give temperature difference between land and cloud formation, causing a lot of water vapor

So the presence of these factors become the main driver of lightning, so the occurrence of lightning is due to the forcible separation of positive and negative electrical charges on the particles of water during evaporation. And for whatever reason, to avoid lightning storms, each building should be better equipped with lightning rods.

A lightning rod is a metal rod  electrically bonded using a wire mounted on top of a building, to interface with ground or "earth" through an electrode,  protecting the building in the event of lightning strike that  could start a fire or cause electrocution lightning, but it will preferentially strike the rod and be conducted to ground through the wire, instead of passing through the building. The lighting rod requires a connection to earth to perform its protective function. Lightning rods come in many different forms, including hollow, solid, pointed, rounded, flat strips or even bristle brush-like: copper or aluminum. The main attribute of all lightning rods is they are conductive.
